The Mint Bay Area Karaoke got its name from the Federal Mint (which prints money down the street). The Mint once was a fine dining restaurant that served Steak and Lobster. In the 90s it was taken over and converted into a karaoke bar much as you see it today. The Mint has hosted many LGBT events and competitions over the years and remains “an everyone’s welcome” safe, supportive establishment
